Four Paws Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Four Paws (stylized FOUR PAWS) is a global animal welfare organisation based in Vienna, Austria. The organisation is focused on European pets and is funded exclusively by donations.
Animal Care Specialist (Former Employee) says"Four Paws. It's was a Animals Clinic. I was asked to take a class for Vet Tech. I paid for it myself and Achieved a 4.0 GPA. The DVM freaked out. I don't know I would be treated like a slave at work. I'm a veteran and I am trying to make it. So I quit that job and found a suitable position elsewhere."
Main- Bather/Sales Associate (Former Employee) says"The management at four paws is honestly the most stressful thing I myself and the employees have experienced. I feel as if I was the only one who wanted to clean the place up. I sacrificed blood sweat and tears but the boss threw me under the bus and threw all my hard work out the window. Cons: gross environment, awful management, everything"
Kennel Concierge (Former Employee) says"Over booked, under staffed most days. Cons: over booked, under staffed"
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at FOUR PAWS full-time Cons: This is the worst NGO I worked for. Absolutely no respect for staff, their security and well being. No training opportunities, very little compensation for travel expenses, having to share a bed with someone you never saw before while on work trips, not being paid for part of the work supplied, the list could go on and on... The organisation employs very young and inexperienced people in high responsibility positions only to sack them shortly fter when they don't manage to keep up - surprisingly!!"
Office Manager says"I worked at FOUR PAWS for more than a year Cons: lack of full benefits, ED who sits in his office & doesn't know how to lead & has no managerial skills, home office is in Vienna, Austria which means different rules, the money doesn't go to the animals- it is primarily used for fundraising purposes"
Current Employee - Senior Manager, Campaigns says"I have been working at FOUR PAWS full-time Cons: Non-competitive conditions, human resources, personal development opportunities"
